We did two 2 hour museum tours with Hanneke, the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum a couple of days later. Our group included 2 families with 4 kids ages 17-22. Hanneke is so knowledgeable and her love for what she describes is obvious. At the Van Gogh she guided us through in a sequential way so as we learned about the paintings we also learned about Van Gogh’s life journey. My oldest daughter said this was one of the favorite things we did in Amsterdam. The Rijksmuseum is much larger, you could probably spend days there. Hanneke did a nice job moving us through focusing on a number of paintings by different artists and different time periods so we got a nice overview of the more prominent works.Jeff
