Why and how we process your data
Your personal data will only be used related to your tour booking. Examples of personal data that we can use for this purpose:
– Email address
– Phone number
– Personal information useful to put together a suitable tour, e.g. city of residence, profession and/ or anything else you like to share or is applicable for this purpose.
We keep this information in our email conversation and a summary in your booking in our agenda. As we use Google, these are Gmail and Google calendar.
How long do we keep your data and what do we do with it
As stated in the General Act on Government Taxes, we have to keep our financial records for 7 years – which means invoices and receipts including your name and type of tour(s) you booked.
In case you contacted us but didn’t book a tour, we will delete your email including all information. In case you did book a tour, we will keep our email conversations in case you or somebody from your network approaches us again, so that we can continue to base our services on our earlier contact.
We do not sell your data or provide third parties with it for commercial reasons. We only provide third parties with the applicable data if this is necessary for the planning and/or execution of your tour (e.g. guides, drivers, boat captains, hotel concierges, restaurants).
We use Google Analytics to keep track of the visits to our website www.amsterdamodyssey.com. The obtained information, including the address of your computer (IP address), is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google uses this information to keep track of how our website is being used, to provide us with reports on the performance of our website.
Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or insofar as these third parties process the information on behalf of Google. Amsterdam Odyssey VOF has no influence on this.
Amsterdam Odyssey VOF has not given permission to Google to use Analytics information obtained via Amsterdam Odyssey VOF for other Google services.
This website contains buttons to be able to promote or share pages on the social networks Facebook and Instagram. These buttons are realized by means of a code using a cookie. Please read the privacy statement of Facebook and Instagram (which can change on a regular basis) to check what they do with your personal details which they process using this code.
